sexual content

I actually wasn't very surprised by what I found during the sexual content assignment. I found that there was only a couple of instances in the shows that I watched, and this didn't surprise me because I know that sex is present in the media. Today we had a discussion in class about getting desensitized towards sex in the media. I think that depending on the circumstances, some types of sexual content are kind of desensitized for me. Maybe it was just that what I watched was mild things like making out, which I don't see as a huge issue to be portrayed on TV. Although I don't think that sexual content is inherently bad, I do have a problem with many types of sexual content.
